What Is It?
The Workshop on Biblical Exposition is a three-day training event aimed to encourage and equip you in the skills needed to read, understand, and proclaim the Word of God.
Who Should Attend?
The Workshops on Biblical Exposition are for men who are responsible for regularly preaching and teaching. We also welcome those in bi-vocational ministries as well as those training for ministry. Women Bible teachers can check out our Women’s Workshops.
How Should I Prepare?
During the small groups, you will have an opportunity to get feedback on work you’ve prepared in advance.
Ryan Bishop
Senior Pastor, Redeemer Church
Ryan is the Senior Pastor of Redeemer Church in Graham, Texas. Ryan holds an MDiv and a ThM from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. Ryan is also certified by ACBC as a biblical counselor. He is the founder of the Brazos River Ministers Association. Previously, he served as Associate Pastor at Kenwood Baptist Church in Louisville, Kentucky and a Pastoral Intern at Capitol Hill Baptist Church in Washington, D.C.
Dave Cartwright
Director of Online Training
Dave serves as the Director of Online Training for the Charles Simeon Trust. He earned his MDiv and ThM in New Testament Studies from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. After completing a pastoral residency in Richmond, Virginia, Dave moved across the country to serve and pastor a church in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. In 2021, he relocated to Chicago to be a student at the Chicago Course on Preaching. In his role as Director of Online Training, Dave oversees all of the Online Courses, helping train churches and individuals to use them well. He also oversees many translation projects to the Courses in several languages.
Jeremy Krause
Lead Teaching Pastor, Mill Creek Community Church
Jeremy is the Lead Teaching Pastor of Mill Creek Community Church in Shawnee, Kansas. Before that, he served as Family Pastor at First Evangelical Free Church in Wichita, Kansas. Jeremy met his wife Brooke while completing his undergraduate at Kansas State University in Manhattan. It was also there in Manhattan that Jeremy completed his Master’s of Divinity at Emmanuel House Seminary while serving as Youth Pastor of New Hope Community Church. One of Jeremy’s great passions is preaching the Bible so more know Jesus.
