What Is It?
The Workshop on Biblical Exposition is a three-day training event aimed to encourage and equip you in the skills needed to read, understand, and proclaim the Word of God.
Who Should Attend?
The Workshops on Biblical Exposition are for men who are responsible for regularly preaching and teaching. We also welcome those in bi-vocational ministries as well as those training for ministry.
How Should I Prepare?
During the small groups, you will have an opportunity to get feedback on work you’ve prepared in advance.
Ben Panner
Director of Workshops
Ben Panner became the Director of Workshops in 2024. Before joining the Trust, he spent 12 years serving as a pastor at College Church in Wheaton, IL (2012-2024). After earning a Bachelor’s in Business and Economics and a Master’s in Christian Formation and Ministry from Wheaton College, he continued his theological training by completing an MDiv through Reformed Theological Seminary. In 2024, he was ordained in the Presbyterian Church in America. He has been a Workshop Instructor for the Simeon Trust since 2018. As the Director of Workshops, Ben will continue to instruct, train instructors, and work with a great team to coordinate workshops around the globe. Ben and his wife Joanna are enjoying the fullness of life with five young kids: Piper, Jeremiah, Levi, Simeon, and Seth.
Erik Raymond
Senior Pastor, Redeemer Fellowship Church
Erik Raymond is the Senior Pastor of Redeemer Fellowship Church in Watertown, Massachusetts. Erik is a frequent contributor to several publications including Tabletalk, 9Marks, & Desiring God. His blog, Ordinary Pastor, is hosted by The Gospel Coalition and features regular articles and book reviews. He is the author of Chasing Contentment: Trusting God in a Discontented Age, Is Hell for Real?, and Gospel-Shaped Outreach.
Adam Sinnett
Lead Pastor, Downtown Cornerstone Church
Adam serves as the lead pastor of Downtown Cornerstone Church in Seattle, Washington. He received double bachelor degrees from the University of Washington and a master’s in theological studies from Reformed Theological Seminary. In 2010, he and his family moved into the city center of Seattle to plant DCC, where they continue to live and serve.
