What Is It?
The Workshop on Biblical Exposition is a three-day training event aimed to encourage and equip you in the skills needed to read, understand, and proclaim the Word of God.
Who Should Attend?
The Workshops on Biblical Exposition are for men who are responsible for regularly preaching and teaching. We also welcome those in bi-vocational ministries as well as those training for ministry.
How Should I Prepare?
During the small groups, you will have an opportunity to get feedback on work you’ve prepared in advance.
Kyle Hackmann
Pastor, Christ Church Toronto
Kyle serves as Pastor of Christ Church Toronto in Toronto, Ontario. Kyle earned a Masters of Divinity degree from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. He and his wife have ministry experience in Chicago, Leipzig, and St. Louis, before moving to Toronto in 2010 to join Grace Toronto Church in their mission of seeing churches planted throughout Toronto. Kyle served as the Associate Pastor of Grace Toronto for seven years before planting Christ Church Toronto in 2017.
Godwin Sathianathan
Lead Pastor, Faith Evangelical Free Church
Godwin Sathianathan is the Lead Pastor of Faith Evangelical Free Church in Milford, OH (a suburb of Cincinnati). Previously he served at churches in Massachusetts and Michigan. A graduate of the University of Michigan, Godwin also earned an MDiv from Grand Rapids Theological Seminary and a ThM from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. He has written for the Gospel Coalition, For the Church, and the Council on Biblical Manhood and Womanhood.
Yuta Seki
Senior Pastor, Maple Avenue Baptist Church
Yuta Seki serves as Senior Pastor of Maple Avenue Baptist Church in Georgetown, Ontario. He earned a BCMin from the Canadian Baptist Theological Seminary & College and an MDiv from The Master’s Seminary, and is pursuing a DEdMin from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. Previously, Yuta served as the Youth Minister and Associate Pastor at the same church.
