What Is It?
The Workshop on Biblical Exposition is a three-day training event aimed to encourage and equip you in the skills needed to read, understand, and proclaim the Word of God.
Who Should Attend?
The Workshops on Biblical Exposition are for men who are responsible for regularly preaching and teaching. We also welcome those in bi-vocational ministries as well as those training for ministry. Women Bible teachers can check out our Women’s Workshops.
How Should I Prepare?
During the small groups, you will have an opportunity to get feedback on work you’ve prepared in advance.
Brandon Levering
Lead Pastor, Stonebridge Church
Brandon Levering is the Lead Pastor of Stonebridge Church (EFCA) in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. He holds an MA in Biblical Exegesis from Wheaton College Graduate School and a BS in Business Administration from the University of Nebraska in Lincoln. Previously, Brandon served as Lead Pastor of Westgate Church in Weston, Massachusetts, and on the pastoral staff of College Church in Wheaton, Illinois.
Jim Powell
Lead Pastor, Christ Community Church
Jim is Lead Pastor of Christ Community Church in Johnson City, TN. For the past several years he has been intentionally bi-vocational, also serving as an executive in non-profits that address substandard housing. Prior to his current post, Jim served as church planter of West Valley Presbyterian Church in Emmaus, Pennsylvania, and pastor of Harmony Presbyterian Church in Kingsport, Tennessee. He received his Master of Divinity degree from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School.
Clint Humfrey
Lead Pastor, Calvary Grace Church
Clint Humfrey serves as Lead Pastor at Calvary Grace Church in Calgary, Alberta. He received a BMin at Prairie Bible College and an MDiv at Toronto Baptist Seminary. He has also completed diploma studies at The Master’s College in California. Previously, he taught New Testament Greek as a professor at Toronto Baptist Seminary. Currently, Clint serves as a Council Member for The Gospel Coalition Canada, as well as a Lead Mentor at Union School Theology.
