Complacency creeps in quietly. We can find ourselves settling for “good enough”—in our work, in our lives, even in ministry. And that is dangerous, because complacency stunts growth. Proclaiming the gospel of Jesus Christ is too important a task for complacency to creep in. If we are called to proclaim God’s Word, we are called to keep growing, keep sharpening, keep striving for better.
Better preaching strengthens churches. It changes lives. It brings Christ to those who need Him.
Let’s not settle for “good enough.” Let’s reach for better. To that end, we’re providing more opportunities to grow this year:

- First Principles now available in Russian and Vietnamese
- Chicago Course on Preaching with its largest incoming class
All of this aims at one goal: better preaching everywhere for greater gospel impact.
Would you please pray for the work? Pray for churches to be strengthened and lives to be changed. Pray for the thousands of pastors and Bible teachers who will train with us this year because they’re not satisfied with good. They’re striving for better.
