Augustus Nicodemus

Augustus is Assistant Pastor at the First Presbyterian Church in Recife. He previously served as the Senior Pastor of the First Presbyterian Church in Goiânia. Before that, he served as Chancellor of Mackenzie Presbyterian University (2003-2013). He holds a degree in theology from the Seminário Presbiteriano do Norte in Recife, a master’s degree in New Testament from the Reformed University of Potchefstroom (South Africa), and a doctorate in Biblical Interpretation by Westminster Theological Seminary. He also serves as Vice President of the Theological Education Committee of the Presbyterian Church of Brazil and as Vice President of the Presbyterian Church of Brazil. He is the author of several books, including Cristianismo descomplicado: Questões difíceis da vida cristã de um jeito fácil de entender.
