What Is It?
The Workshop on Biblical Exposition is a three-day training event aimed to encourage and equip you in the skills needed to read, understand, and proclaim the Word of God.
Who Should Attend?
The Workshops on Biblical Exposition are generally for people who are responsible for regularly preaching and teaching. We also welcome those in bi-vocational ministries as well as those training for ministry.
How Should I Prepare?
The most important aspect of a Workshop is the time in Small Groups. It is essential each person arrives prepared to present on the two different passages assigned to them. We have created a guide for helping you get started.
Kevin Walker
Assistant Pastor for Ministry Training, Holy Trinity Church
Kevin serves as the Assistant Pastor for Ministry Training at Holy Trinity Church in Chicago, Illinois. He took on the role of Director of Ministries for the Charles Simeon Trust in 2024, having been on the team in different capacities since 2016. Kevin has served as lecturer in New Testament and Greek at the Evangelical Theological Seminary in Osijek, Croatia and as the Principal of Kinshasa Christian School in Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of Congo. He earned a bachelor’s degree from the Moody Bible Institute and completed an MDiv at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. He is married to Alyssa and they live with their children, Manny and Sayira, in the Hyde Park neighborhood of Chicago.
Josh Manley
Senior Pastor, RAK Evangelical Church
Josh Manley planted and is the senior pastor of RAK Evangelical Church in Ras al Khaimah, United Arab Emirates. Josh hails from the United States of America and holds an MDiv and ThM from Southern Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky. Prior to entering preaching ministry, Josh worked as an aide in the United States Senate.
Scott Logsdon
Lead Pastor, Union Church of Istanbul
Scott Logsdon has served as Lead Pastor of Union Church of Istanbul, Türkiye since August 2023. Before coming to Istanbul he was on the pastoral staff of McLean Bible Church in Washington D.C. Scott received his PhD and his MDiv from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in Wake Forest, USA.

Cost
Cost
The cost is 2,000TRY, collected on the first day of the workshop. This covers two lunches, snacks, and course materials.
