What Is It?
The Workshop on Biblical Exposition is a three-day training event aimed to encourage and equip you in the skills needed to read, understand, and proclaim the Word of God.
Who Should Attend?
The Workshops on Biblical Exposition are generally for people who are responsible for regularly preaching and teaching. We also welcome those in bi-vocational ministries as well as those training for ministry.
How Should I Prepare?
The most important aspect of a Workshop is the time in Small Groups. As such, it is essential that each person arrives prepared for these sessions. You will need to be prepared to present on 2 different passages.

John Musyimi serves as the lead pastor of North Point Baptist Church in Nairobi, Kenya. He is the author of A Counterfeit Gospel, which details his departure from and reflection about the prosperity gospel. He also Co-wrote Love Bila Regrets, a book on Christian dating. John is married to Mumbi and together they are raising four children. He is a contributor at TGC Africa and also publishes articles at his own website johnmusyimi.com

Doug Van Meter has served as the pastor-teacher of Brackenhurst Baptist Church since 6 July 1993. Doug’s primary ministry in the church is the exposition of Scripture each week from the pulpit. He is also responsible for the mission and discipleship ministries of the church and is involved in much counselling. Doug is married to Jill and has five daughters and a growing number of grandchildren.
