What Is It?
The Workshop on Biblical Exposition is a three-day training event aimed to encourage and equip you in the skills needed to read, understand, and proclaim the Word of God.
Who Should Attend?
The Workshops on Biblical Exposition are for men who are responsible for regularly preaching and teaching. We also welcome those in bi-vocational ministries as well as those training for ministry. Women Bible teachers can check out our Women’s Workshops.
How Should I Prepare?
During the small groups, you will have an opportunity to get feedback on work you’ve prepared in advance.
Mike Bullmore
Senior Pastor, CrossWay Community Church
Mike serves as Senior Pastor of CrossWay Community Church in Bristol, Wisconsin. Mike earned a diploma in Bible and Theology at Moody Bible Institute and a BA in Biblical Studies from Wheaton College. He then earned an MDiv and ThM from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, followed by a PhD in Rhetorical History and Criticism from Northwestern University. Prior to leading the launch of CrossWay Community Church in 1998, Mike served for 15 years as an Associate Professor of Homiletics and Pastoral Theology, as well as chairman of the Practical Theology Department at TEDS. He also serves on the council of The Gospel Coalition.
Trent Hunter
Pastor, Heritage Bible Church
Trent Hunter is the pastor for preaching and teaching at Heritage Bible Church in Greer, South Carolina. Trent earned a BA in Bible and Theology from the Moody Bible Institute and an MDiv from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. He is the author of Graphical Greek, an electronic reference guide for biblical Greek, as well as Joshua in Crossway’s Knowing the Bible series. Trent is also a contributor to The Gospel Coalition blogs and reviews.
Kevin McKay
Lead Pastor, Grace Harbor Church
Kevin is the Lead Pastor of Grace Harbor Church in Providence, Rhode Island. He received a degree in Communications from Carson-Newman College, having attended at a distance while working on staff at a church in Knoxville, Tennessee, as a student minister. In 2006, Kevin and his family moved to Washington D.C., where Kevin was a part of the internship program and then the staff of Capitol Hill Baptist Church. Kevin was sent out by Capitol Hill Baptist Church in August 2008 to Providence to become the pastor of Grace Harbor Church. He completed his formal theological training at the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville.
