What Is It?
The Workshop on Biblical Exposition is a three-day training event aimed to encourage and equip you in the skills needed to read, understand, and proclaim the Word of God.
Who Should Attend?
The Workshops on Biblical Exposition are for men who are responsible for regularly preaching and teaching. We also welcome those in bi-vocational ministries as well as those training for ministry.
How Should I Prepare?
During the small groups, you will have an opportunity to get feedback on work you’ve prepared in advance.
Derek Buikema
Lead Pastor, Orland Park Christian Reformed Church
Derek Buikema is the Lead Pastor at Orland Park Christian Reformed Church in Orland Park, Illinois. Derek attended Wheaton College, Westminster Seminary, and Calvin Seminary. Derek’s sermons have been featured on AM 1160’s program “Teach Chicago,” and he is a regular conference speaker.
Curtis Cook
Senior Pastor, Hope Fellowship Church
Curtis Cook is the Senior Pastor of Hope Fellowship Church in Cambridge, Massachusetts. He earned a B.S. from Oklahoma State University and an MDiv from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.
David Bissett
Pastor, Clifton Park Community Church
David Bissett has been Pastor of Clifton Park Community Church (in the Capital District of upstate New York) for 20 years. He earned an undergraduate degree in economics, an MDiv from Bethel Seminary, and an DMin from the Ligonier Academy. He is a founding member of Gospel Advance of Upstate, an officer of the Evangelical Theological Society’s Northeast Region, and leader of a weekly ministerial fraternal. Previously, he served two churches in New England, volunteered with InterVarsity Christian Fellowship, and led Toshavim.
